These are just a few of the words that clients and opposing counsel use when describing Larry. For more than 30 years, Larry has devoted himself to representing his clients with great skill and commitment while never forgetting that not only his clients, but those opposing them, are first and foremost people who deserve to be treated fairly and with respect.

Primarily, Larry is a trial lawyer. 在他的职业生涯中, he has represented clients whose disputes range from a few hundred dollars to millions of dollars. Larry is originally from Portsmouth, 俄亥俄州, and spent most of his adult life living in Louisville, 肯塔基州. He primarily 实践s within the state of 印第安纳州. He is licensed and actively engaged in the law in 印第安纳州 and 肯塔基州.

Larry graduated from Kent State University in 1988 with a B.A. in 英语, earning induction into Phi Beta Kappa. He then attended the University of Cincinnati School of Law where he obtained his J.D. Prior to joining Church, 兰登, Lopp, Banet Law Firm in 新奥尔巴尼, IN, Larry began his legal career as a Public Defender, where he represented thousands of indigent individuals. From the PD office, Larry transitioned to the regional law firm of Wyatt, Tarrant and Combs, where he 实践d for 15 years. He then operated the southern 印第安纳州 office of McNeely Stephenson for more than 10 years. Most recently Larry, along with his partners, opened the 新奥尔巴尼 office of Church, 兰登, Lopp, Banet Law in 2020.

Larry describes his style as relaxed and conversational. He prefers a sweater and jeans to a suit and tie. He likes the law firm’s pet-friendly policy, which includes supporting pet rescue initiatives and the Humane Society. At the law firm, it’s not uncommon to find a puppy under a desk or in the hallway. He also enjoys the law firm’s commitment to the local community.

“We were all either born, grew up in or live this community. We feel very blessed by our success and it’s important to all of us to give back. It’s a way of equaling out all that we’ve been given. When we get involved in an activity or an event, we don’t just write a check — we show up.”

Larry and his partner, 克里斯, live in 新奥尔巴尼 with their beagles, 玛雅和朱诺, and their two dangerously overweight cats, 阿罗和盖茨比. 克里斯 is an avid historian and currently works as the Assistant Director at the Conrad Caldwell House Museum. They are both active in their communities and participate in a variety of fitness activities as well as enjoying traveling, 电影和音乐.
